Biography

Arturo is a last year student of Adolfo Ibañez university studying Industrial Engineering and currently cursing a Master degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. In his years as a Student he has been a teacher’s asistant in courses of Programming and Stochastic Techniques, Statistic and Simulation, also helped the student center in the team of Finances and spent one semester abroad in University of Technology of Sydney where he was able to complement his knowledge with a more worldwide vision. During his time as a student he has developed a big interest in areas of Optimization, Operation Research and Data analytics. This knowledge and techniques have been of great help in the develop of his thesis concernig the inclusion of uncertainty in parameters of a long term expansion model for the chilean energy matrix, all this with the counseling of faculty teachers Tito Homem de Mello and Frédéric Babonneau.
