Biography

Javiera is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI). Her research interests are stochastic processes, stochastic optimization and network resilience. She completed her PhD studies at the Université Paris-Descartes and at School of Engineering of Universidad de Chile under the supervision of professors Bernard Ycart and Servet Martínez.  Javiera defended her thesis on January, 2006. She has an undergraduate degree in Mathematical Engineering which she obtained as well from the School of Engineering of Universidad de Chile.
