Biography

Pablo Flores Yuretic is a Bachelor of Engineering Sciences and a student in the Master in Industrial Engineering and Operation Research (MIIIO) at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. During his undergraduate years, he was a teaching assistant in Optimization and Multivariate Calculus, two times each. His main interest is in Operation Research, specifically in its applications in energy planning and economics. He also has interest in stochastic modeling and climate change, which led him to join the ORECC team with professor Tito Hommem-De-Melo and Frédéric Babonneau to work in his thesis to get both degrees in Industrial Engineering and master’s. His work is about the incorporation of stochasticity to an existing model of Chilean energy planning.
